This week in the news Tony brings two very different decisions from the planning department about the Ferry Companies on the Isle of Wight and on a (some would say) more interesting note the Isle of Wight features in the Rough Guide's Top 30 places to visit in the world with children.

Ali has some news of a public art project in East Cowes with the development of an archway made with chains from the floating bridge. You can see for yourself at the official opening on the 23rd April at the East Cowes Business Association Free Family Fun Day.

East Cowes Business Association Family Fun Day to celebrate St George's Day 23rd April 2016 - 11am - 3:30pm. 12 Noon children's fancy dress parade and competition with great prizes, and at 1pm a shield decorating competition for the kids, as well as coconut shy, swing boats and other entertainment.
